This is a picture of our zone at our last district council at the church. They are so young and enthusiastic! We are blessed to be able to serve with them.

GULLANE BEACH
Saturday, we rode the bus out to Gullane. It's our favorite beach so far! The water was very blue, almost like Laguna. It was a very clear day, but also very cold.
I love this picture, taken from a little above the beach.
There were piles of shells. Some were too pretty to resist.

MORNING WALK
I thought I'd post some pictures of our morning walk. We go different ways, but this one is our canal route. This is where we live, and it's next to the Union Canal and a sports complex.
This is the bus stop we usually use. It's not very far to walk to.
We walk through this park. This morning we saw a full moon.
More of the park.
This is near the bus stop- the type of bus we ride on.
A lot of people walk and ride bikes on the path next to the canal, but we don't like to because the bikes make it kind of hazardous for walkers.
The Union Canal was originally built to move goods- similar to the Erie Canal, but now it's used for rowing. It's not really very wide, and two boats can't pass each other, but they are fun to watch.
This is a boating club on the canal next to our flat. They just added a really big building, so I guess business is expanding!

CRAMDEN BEACH
We went for a walk on the beach Saturday in Cramden. It's near the island we explored awhile ago. There was lots of rocks and broken bits of bricks, so we decided to make another beach cow. Since we couldn't agree on the design we each made our own this time. I thought Charles did really well on his first solo cow!
I opted for a simpler design, using bricks for the legs!
This is the Forth Bridge in the background.
Cramden really is a beautiful area and the North Sea looks amazing in the morning. It seemed like it was very early, since the sun comes up so late, but this picture was taken about 10:00 a.m.
We had a quiet week, due to many of the Young Adults being out of town for Christmas, but we had a chance to visit a few of the less-active ones. We rode the bus for a couple of the outings, which is always fun. We met a YA at church last Sunday who came to FHE and brought her husband. Since it's not just for single members, it was great to have a married couple. She isn't a member yet, but may be heading in that direction. She helped us clean the building Wednesday, and even took home all the kitchen towels to wash.
