We had Andrea and her husband, Ian, and Mary over for dinner so they could talk about Rexburg, Idaho, where Mary is from. Andrea is not yet a member of the church, but she had a strong feeling about going to BYU-I, so she applied and was accepted for spring term. Ian will stay behind, so we'll try to watch out for him!
FHE was on Valentine's Day, so we decorated Valentine's cookies. The YA's got very creative! The next day, we took some of them around to YA's we haven't seen in awhile.Today we went up to Calton Hill. It's in the heart of the city, near other places we've been, but we hadn't been here yet. This is the National Monument, or Edinburgh's Disgrace. It was started in 1826 and left unfinished in 1829 when the money ran out. It's modeled after The Parthenon.
There is an amazing view from up there. You can see for miles in every direction.
